While alfs' tutorial is excelent, if you are an intermediate bomber pilot, you may find the pdf bomber manual at the site in my sig more educating.  Pay particular attention to pages 21 and 22.

And if you're interested in a new bomber only squad in the CT/SEA, check out the 322nd BOMB GROUP (M) "ANNIHILATORS"

Enjoy

Excellent stuff, guys!

Noticed a bit of a possible bug actually (Skuzzy?!?!)...

When in callibration mode in a B17G, I can't move the bombsight! I can waggle me joystick as much as I like (oooerrr missus) but the view and crosshairs just refuse to move at all.

Luckily, I'm practising offline on a very flat map, and the sight somehow seems to callibrate OK without having to hold the crosshairs on a fixed point, I just hold 'Y' for a good long time over the sea. God knows how, but I still seem to hit the target pretty well from 15k alt.

All the other 'sighted' bombers let me callibrate properly, so what's with the '17?

that sounds really weird. are you pushing the joystick forward after you begin your calibration?

Yup, and in any other bomber the site moves and I can get the crosshair on the target, or any other point for that matter.

In the B17, It just won't move at all in any direction

These two situations together are unlikely but anyway, go to Setup, FlightModeFlags and make sure you have the "Precision Bombsite" unchecked.
