We start in Trieste, which the French have successfully assaulted and conquered with their army that had gained the foot hold in Albania last fall. The Turkish defenders, having recognized the danger, attempted to move past the invaders and escape to Albania. But they have failed and been annihilated.

Meanwhile, German forces have attacked and successfully captured the Russian Black Sea stronghold of Sevastopol. The Russian army was able to retreat to Armenia in an orderly fashion, however, and the timely arrival of a Turkish Fleet into the Black Sea could allow for a possible Russian recapture in the fall.

Apparently not satisfied with the progress the Austrians were making, the Kaiser has pulled off a minor stab in Warsaw. Whether or not the Kaiser allows the Austrians back in during the fall, the Archduke can't be happy with this development.

One wonders if French President Tarmac has taken notice of the German stab of Austria, and how, or if, the presence of German fleets in the French rear areas will affect the Franco-German alliance.

Respectfully submitted,

Master banana
