ISP Authentication windows pops up
« on: December 20, 2003, 12:27:37 PM »
Hi All,

For a long time now I've had a problem with the ISP authentication progress (the one saying "Verifying your user name and password") that pops up on the screen every few minutes for a very short time and then closes. Whenever that happens AH minimizes to the taskbar and I have to Alt-Tab back to it.

I've tried unchecking the "Display progress while connecting", but that didn't solve the problem (that windows still appears, only minimized). I also tried unchecking "Redial if line is droped", but that didn't have any effect. It happens even when I'm just browsing the net and makes IE lose focus.

What to do?

TIA

Who is your ISP?  Dial-up or HSI?

I'm using 750KB ADSL through a local ISP (bezeqint.net).

Not familiar with them, Chances are it maybe that you are dropping packets.  I'd give their tech support a call and see what they say, after all that's what your paying them for :D
