Well, we have a mature FM, IMO more than enough planes and a stable game. What about giving a boost to the graphics? That is, better fire and explosions effects. Better and more diverse terrain textures. More detailed terrain with forests (unable to ditch over them), rivers with ports only for PTs, roads, railroads, a lot of towns over the map, medium size cities, and the hability to take the towns and the medium cities with some impact over the strategy, etc. This is the factor where, IMO, AH is actually lacking more. Anything that make us feel more inside a real world and flying over real countries, not over moon surface from base to base and nothing between them.

My opinion on this subject:

Even though what I said before about the FM, I am starting to get used to it. Only prob holding me back is the message "do not move your controls too fast". I still have to find out what that means. About the FM, anyone see the program on Discovery Wings last night about WW2 aircraft? The planes were bobbing about a bit in turns etc (something I had never noticed before).., so I'm starting to get converted into thinking HTC got the FM right and not Microsoft, as I had said before. But I still have to be convinced more before I am 100 per cent.

The plane graphics are excellent (I used some screen shots for my windows desktop wallpaper) and very detailed. Airport buildings, vehicles, all excellent. Only things I would improve are the scenery features like trees, because they give you a sense of altitude at low level. I crashed once not realising the ground was at 200 ft above sea level. Sheep are good. Would be nice if I could shoot em for target practice, but it's not that important I think the explosions are good by the way.

Sounds are ok except for the stall alarm which could make someone suicidal after 3 minutes. But luckily we can change that.

Thing that bothers me the most: Seeing planes warp and move 500 yards in less than a second. What is that?

Screw graphics. What AH needs is realism and an HA with realistic features, no "gameplay concessions" and RPS.

Means you got some serious JS problems going on, your pots are bad, or you need to dampen it, no wonder you hate the FM's

Thanks Rip, I'm gonna tweak my joystick tonight, maybe lock the rudder and use keys instead. See if that improves the situation.

P.S is this too big as a sig? I could read no mention as too size or dimensions limits.

That's about perfect size for a signature block.

Droopy, no offence, but MAndoble had a good post.

Could you take your thread robbing, gay signature promotion,  12 line Commander of nothing but a tardforce, outta here?

lol

Thank you in advance.

I sent HTC a fruit basket WITH "things" you forgot, so they like me better. HA! So don't try and make them yell at me, they have fruitbasket gifts "extra" that you can't mess with!

and movable flak batteries. they could be moved by rail or road and straffed along the way. they could be withdrawn in retreat as a base falls to a more concetrated point. they could be moved toward hq when the roster numbers get low. of course they fall with the base if it is captured while they are there. and would spawn at a factory and need to be moved if destroyed. oh yeah...and searchlights
