bashwolf your reply reminds me of a story my XO sent me a few weeks ago, it goes like this..

A World War II pilot is reminiscing before school children
about his days in the air force. "There I was over Germany in
1942," he says, "the situation was really tough. The Germans
had a very strong air force. I remember, " he continues, "one
day I was protecting the bombers and suddenly, out of the
clouds, these fokkers appeared. (At this point, several of the
children giggle.) I looked up, and right above me was one of
them. I aimed at him and shot him down. They were swarming. I
immediately realized that there was another fokker behind me."
At this instant the girls in the auditorium start to giggle
and boys start to laugh.
The teacher stands up and says, "I think I should point out
that 'Fokker' was the name of the German-Dutch aircraft
company"
"That's true," says the pilot, "but these fokkers were flying
Messerschmidts."

TT ya kidding right?

190 is so over modeled here its not funny..
I have 3 account at this time on AH..

Wardog strickly p51 for Bishops in a Squad.

Panther all AC any country

####### <-- Wont tell ya   Strickly 190 because i love the Overmodeled Uber 190 as much as the p51. It turns ,Handles extremely well and can move a mountain in 2 bursts

Am working on Kill stats and film in the 190. If i wasnt in a Squad i would be in a LW Squad flying 190s.

And how did you get p51 to get to 800kias? I would kinda like to ram b17s at this speed

It is a well documented fact that the FW was a remarkably stable and easy to fly aircraft.
For example, take the famous case of Klouse Wierderman. While working as a janetor in a, aaaah, hotel for ladys. Klouse left his place of employment on the 13 of june 1944. He looked up an saw a FW 190 at a distance of no more than five thousend feet. Klouse was heard to remark, and I quote, "boy that thing looks stable".

Now how can you argue with that. This is an eyewitness account, by someone who was there. And let me add that I got this directly from my brother. Who works with a guy, that actully met the brother in law of Klouse,s next door nabor. What does it take people!

HTC, in there lust for power, have obviously arbitrarily designed an FM that will pander to the mindless American throng. Who will no doubt supply the brunt of the vast, financial uderpinnings of the evergrowing, HTC impire.
