No actually he never said he served the same times as me I think he stated he got out in 81 I didn't even go in untill 88. And despite what you see on TV every infantry company that Iam aware of when I was in had at least 1 sniper and in some units you had 1 sniper per Plattoon. so snipers aren't that uncomon infact alot of people that served the same times as me in the same field have simular dd-214s what I posted is about averedge infact mines a little under avredge specially with people that went to kosovo and sumalia and honduras (in 88 I barely missed that) theres alot of more people have on there DD214s then me. Again mines a little below adredge. specially considering the units I was in. Another thing is alot of people in this community served in the armed forces Ide say at least 10% ranging from wwII to iraqi freedom (some are there now). I not only showed the good stuff but alot fo the bad to. I failed ranger school. I failed my first attempt to get into Air Assualt school. and I dam neer failed sniper school (I sucked at stalking). Airborn is the toughest that I got threw and the scarriest funny thing is Iam more affraid of riding in a c-130 then iam jumping out of one. But again you don't know who is lying and who is tellign the truth becuase this is the internet. I remember some one telling people his dad was a b-17 pilot and he inherited his b-17. he even showed people a picture of it. every one believed him until +Tiff researched it. I wount mention any names but it happens so Personally Ide just take every thing people post on the internet with a grain of salt. besides true or not who gives a ratts arse! just don't invest anything into it. Who cares if black is telling the truth or not. who cares if he saw combat or not. I personally know nothing of him or care to. If I meet him in person then cool otherwise he is just another voice in the masses to me. But some people hang on every little thing people post. and get into these mellodrama's. not only do you not beleive me you think Iam some one else playing an identity game.

It wasn't the schools per se nor the dates. It was everything from the "knee injury in Ranger School" to the "breaking someone's jaw" portion.
