Taking a break from the CT
« on: January 28, 2004, 10:01:21 PM »
Hullo fellow CT'rs

I'm taking a little breather for a couple of weeks. I need to recharge my batteries a little and the best way to do that is to take a little holiday.

Why ?  well, I'm burned out,  I've done a lot  since i joined AH a year ago, Learned how to fly, Joined the 325th, Helped with the fledgling JG-3 It's time to move on.

Oh and my Saitek X45 joystick is worn out and i just bought Call of Duty (it doesn't need a j/stick)  :D

See ya in a couple of weeks

Hey Tel, .

Yeah, I know about getting burned out, lol... I'm just recovering from that myself. Took a friggen year, but AH is starting to draw me in again. Maybe I took enough time off this time to stay interested for awhile.

Take your time, relax, and see ya when you get back.

Be careful, I took a "break" from AW in '95, fully intending to be back in "two weeks" and I didnt get back to flight sims until 3 weeks ago when I started in AH. But then I was REALLY[/b] burnt out. Good luck, and see you back soon.

I use to fly CT quite a bit.. I rarely do it anymore.

Just doesn't appeal to me like it use to.

come back soon.

Welcome back Tele!! Isnt funny , when you feel burned out needing a break, after about a week you just got to run back to AH? It's the same for all of us. It'll be good to see you back.

A little too Doom like is some places, but all together a pretty cool game I thought. The best part was the sniper rifle, nothing better than puting a slug in somebody while hiding behind a wall. :)

My breaks usually involve a full season of NCAA 2004 College Football on the Xbox with my son. He loves to play as a coop and be a blocker (usually TE) and hates it when DADDDDDDD beats his tail by 50. I keep telling him that someday he will be beating his brother by 50 on the game. ;) It also usually lasts about 1-2 weeks since he only gets to play once or twice a week. For other things I picked up Strike Fighter Project 1 a few weeks back for $15 after shipping from Gamestop.com. Also have IL-2 and IL-2:FB hanging out for those other moments when I don't want any online interaction.
