Next Friday SO - Battle of Kasserine Squad Divisions
« on: January 31, 2004, 10:25:25 PM »
Gents below is the squad divisions for the next Friday Squad Operation which starts on Feb 6th at the usual time of 11 PM Eastern. Much of the information below can be found here.
http://events.hitechcreations.com/squadops/index.php

I apologize for those squads that did not get their first choice for Allied or Axis, but I believe most did.

I also apologize for those who have to be a Frame C.O. a bit sooner than they might have liked. After I divided up the squads several were on the same side who had been frame C.O.’s not long ago so I was forced to place them in that position sooner than I would have liked.

Squad/Commitment/Level/Side

Marine Air Wing 11-15 Allied
Rogue Squadron 4-6 Allied
332nd Flying Mongrels 16-21 Allied
~U.S.M.C~ 11-15 Allied
Arabian Knights 11-15 Allied
Gravediggers 4-6 Allied
Shillelagh 7-10 Allied
~FATE~ 7-10 Allied

The DAMNED 11-15 Axis
339th Fighter Group 4-6 Axis
Airmageddon 4-6 Axis
Nightmares VMF-101 21-27 Axis
68th Lightning Lancers 11-15 Axis
880 Sqn Fleet Air Arm 7-10 Axis
325th FG "Checkertail Clan" 11-15 Axis
Dogz of War DoW 7-10 Axis

Total 98 per side We might be adding another squad, if so they will go Axis

The following squads are missing information for their X.O. and need to correct/edit that on the Squad ops site.
http://events.hitechcreations.com/squadops/index.php
325th Checkertails
Arabian Knights
The Damned
Dogz of War

All Frame C.O.’s listed below should be able to view the Friday SO:Allied or the Friday SO:Axis side. Please use the forums to bounce ideas off one another or to ask questions if you have any.
Frame C.O.’s are as follows:

Feb 6th Dux/Allied vs. Cando/Axis
Feb 13th TracerX/Allied vs. Jordi/Axis
Feb 20th SikBoy/Allied vs. 68Falcon/Axis

Everyone please remind your squad to log on early. It is a new version of Tunisia (thanks to Dux! :)) and will require a download if they don’t get it during the week.

As always if you see any errors or omissions please let me know.

Orders will go out this Sunday the 1st of Feb.

Hmm, when you click on the link to get the details for upcoming FSOs and SSOs, it requires an ID and Password.  Couldn't the regular Joes have access?

I think Gremlin will be sorting this out, but in the meantime if you click cancel you should still be able to scroll down and see the text.... for some reason it seems to be the pictures that are password-protected....

Feb 13th TracerX/Allied vs. Jordi/Axis

Any chance I can pass this on to another AXIS Squad CO ?

I will be in the middle of recovering from Frame #1 of the Scenario and working on battle plans for Frame #2 ?

Thanks,

Jordi

68K0 it is correct on the CM side of the events site. It is not correct on the player side. Who ever is the C.O. of you side can edit the information just by hitting the "edit" button. Of course they need to know the password to your squad. ;)

Jordi,

Of course you can .. I would suggest though you just ask a person to do it instead of waiting for one of us to volunteer.

This was more of a request to Daddog.

What I meant to post / say was for Daddog to pick an ALTERNATE since he had the list of had done it most recently ?

Anyone want to Volunteer ?

I will gladly fill in as CO in a future Squad ops for that person.

Thanks,

Feb 13th TracerX/Allied vs. Jordi/Axis

This will be the second week of Squad Ops for the new squad I am with.  I fear that I will have my hands full establishing regular operating procedures and inviting new squad members.  I will fulfill my responsibility if I need to, but I would prefer to have someone volunteer to take my place.  I will even do double duty in the next ops if someone would take my place this time.  Anyone.... Anyone.... Bueler?

I will take it Jordi and if there is an objection to me doing 2 weeks in a row I am sure 68KO will step up for one

You are all certainly welcome to find replacements. I will leave it up to you. I apologize for those that the timing of this is poor. I am sure you can find someone to take your slot if need be.  Just make sure I know who they are so I can send them the orders when it is time or you can just forward it to them.
