Full Screen Map?

Is there any way that I can make the map (clipboard map) go to a full screen size while in flight, without having to click on the +/- signs to zoom?  I hate having to zoom in on it to check my position while flying from one location to another.

Press the Insert & Delete keys to zoom in an out this may help it's still not full screen but it will zoom in on your pos.
