Been a long time. Miss the old fella. There's no park like BP anywhere in England. Lots of nostalgia and fond memories.

Heh, I miss it too, there and Beacon Hill are my two favourite little spots back home, many evenings spent there flying kites and walking around BP looking for deer.  The little stream in Newtown Linford next to the car park was, probably still is, full of crayfish. Me and my sister used to spend ages looking for the biggest one we could to chase each other around with.

On a more recent note I'm hoping to do the Leicestershire Round walk, around 100 miles, sometime around Easter.  Its amazing how beatiful the countryside right on our doorstep and its a shame so few people notice or take advantage of it.

Cheers

Beacon Hill brings many memories back for me too.  Fantastic view from up there and nice scenery throughout.
