Yes, in spite of the fact that the majority of people DIDN'T want it.

I was considering the interests of others too. Lots of people wanted to see night eliminated.

So how is the concept alien to me? I argued that night was a fun killer for many people. You toss out such lame insults simply because my opinion is different than yours.

Yeah, um guys... I have been reading all the help files and the Terms of Service.... Can anyone point me to where it says AH is a democracy?

Here's an idea:

Quit your job.

Learn to program.

Start a gaming company.

Build your own flight sim.

Make it all-night, all the time if you want.

Fly around in the dark all you want!

Always liked the night myself. Seemed to have better success at night than I did during the day. Maybe it's just me, but it appeared to level the playing field a bit for me against the hot sticks who have been flying the virtual skies a lot longer than I have.

Besides, I used to do some of my best operating at night!

Bring night back...at least for an hour a day.

As games go, I believe in "proportional representation". For example, if 20% of people approve of the pizza map, it should be up at least 20% of the time. Your philosophy is different. You feel that if 51% of folks are totally opposed to night, that the other 49% should simply go forth and urinate. I don't agree with that.

No, the other 49%, to use your numbers, can turn their monitors way down when they want to sim night. That's what the proponents of night used to tell us(except turn them up).

I wonder how many people would frequent an arena if it were all night.

Anyway, my involvement in the night debate has been by proxy. I have no interest in night personally, but I do feel that as there are a good number of people who want night, their interests should be represented.
