If that was aimed at me I think you should re-read what I wrote.

Lemmee see here......... the difference.

Well, the DC murdering kid enjoyed and enthusiastically killed people. Multiple individual incidents of him murdering folks, taunting the police by telephone, expressing his delight with his work after he was caught, etc.

The potential Palestinian martyr kid quite OBVIOUSLY did NOT want to blow himself up and kill others in the process.

Now, it may be just me, but I see a HUGE difference there.
If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude than the animated contest of freedom, go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen!

OK, Toad.

What about the 14 year old who killed the neighbor kid while emulating professional wrestling? Or any 16 year old who robs a liquor store and goes to the State Pen in Florida instead of juvie.

Are they kids or are they adults?

I think the parents must bear some responsability in these cases.

Its not criminal to send your boys to die for you at 15 and patriotic to do it at 17. Fighting for survival you do what you have to do.
Thats Im sure how the Palistinians see it.

It occurs to me that perhaps there is a hint of desperation in the Palestinian camp right now if they have to resort to children as suicide bombers. I always felt the the suicide bombing phenomenom had a finite life. No matter how radical the population there are always going to be a relatively few fanatics prepared to meet certain death. I think the Palestinians have all but used them up at this stage.

From a purely practical point of view if I was a terrorist leader I would consider it wasteful to use suicide bombers. It's a one hit wonder and the shock value is gone. Much better to use your terrorists on several missions.  Despite the rhetoric most of these people want to fight their enemies and live to enjoy the victory.

Maybe there are some people in the bay area who'd be willing to pick up the cause...

The Palestinians will stop their pratice of self-detonation once they begin to love their children more than they hate Israelis.

One statement I saw from the brother was priceless.  He wasn't pissed off that his younger brother was going to be blown to little bits and pieces, but rather was pissed off at "the people who sent him".

The reason?  The IDF would have an easy time interrogating him and would name names.

Shouldn't an older brother be pissed off at the guys who sent his younger brother to death because...well....the guys sent him yo his death?

I'm going dressed as a suicide bomber - the ultimate in" palestenian chic."  Every once in a while I will take off my jacket, and yell "Allah Akbar!!!!!" Watching them run for their lives will be hillarious...

Yes, and make sure you discount diplomatic routes while you're blowing up children at bus stops. Whatever happened to those peace talks anyway? Oh yeah, asking for complete anniliation of the Jews in the Mid East wouldn't work too well at the bargaining table, would it? Well, that might be acceptable *for you*.

I love how everyone can sit around and discuss these issues, taking the humanity away from the people involved.  Both sides are being swayed by people who try and stay as far away from the front lines as possible.  The Palestinians hide behind civilians and their PLO and Hamas armies, the other behind their armed guards and state army.  The sad fact is, 90% of the people doing the killing, don't want to be there.

I don't blame people for talking about the issue, we all do it.  I just don't like to see a whole group of people's right to life washed away so easily by people.  Your average palestinian doesn't want to kill the jews, they just want to live in peace and have a happy life, just like the rest of us.  Far too often the fate of so many are decided by the actions of so few.  (I'm not sure who said that, but I'm 99.99% sure I didn't make it up just now.)

Huh, well I must have misunderstood the celebration of the WTC falling in the streets of Gaza strip.  I'm sure they were celebrating the martyrs that died.
