Love to be able to map zoom to an axis
« on: March 30, 2004, 03:05:00 AM »
I'd love to be able to control zoom using one of my rotary axes. (min = no zoom, max = max zoom).

Here is my solution.  It works pretty well:

DEF X23   T6 AND NOT S4
DEF X24   T6 AND S4

BTN X23       /I /H ZoomIn
      /O ZoomMode

BTN X24   /H ZoomOut

Still prefer an axis: I have a free axis in AH but I don't have any free buttons.

I generally set my zoom at the start of the sortie. I use the "pinky" switch on  my Saitek to turn it on and off during combat.   If were an axis I'd get much better control plus I could free up the switch.
