1 hour of OZ
« on: April 04, 2004, 10:28:42 AM »
In my first hour on OZ I had taken part in:
1: a Huge tank battle that was a "Hoot"
2: Took JU87 against GV's bumrushing a base and scored many kills:
3: Turn fought many LA-7's with a YAKt and survived.

I would say it was a very good return for the doler/time investment..

A to Fester for the large amount of fun I had last night!!

The center island furball is a great idea that is not new but works... And plenty of Milkrunning opportunties for the building battlers..

There was very little lag that I experienced in the center island furball mania, and other than my router locking up occasionally everything was fine.

Very nice terrain and layout, it really looks like a well thought out map and the port airstrips are a nice feature..

Enjoy

My first hour of Oz entailed the Battle of Midway (A128).  It wasn't a massive clustershreck of aircraft.  No serious vulching ensued due to the multiple runways a few miles apart.  Our CV group had two carriers (yorktown and saratoga?) and encountered another CV group just south of Midway.  Without any cruisers present, the carrier v carrier battle was hectic.  We eventually nailed it and landed at midway via LVT for the capture.  It was sweet.
