making some
« on: April 26, 2004, 05:29:23 PM »
Hi all,

I've been in AH now for a few months and have started making some of my own sounds (I'm actually a sound designer by trade).  I've made a few plane sets and various others (a new and less obnoxious air raid siren, for instance).  I would be  happy to make these available to others, just let me know.  I might also make some custom sounds if there are any special requests.

see you all up there....

I would love to have a different Air Raid sound. If you have a link or webpage that i can get it from because i don't think you can E-mail it to me but you can try.

I am working on getting an ftp sight for my sounds.  I will post the address here soon.  The first go round will have a bunch of general sounds followed soon after with a complete sound set (about half done).  It's sounding real good so far (mean and meaty engines, really frightening puffy ack, etc)

let's say about two weeks

Hey there, I have some web storage to share if you like.

My co-conspirators will be rolling out a new gaming website soon,  and would be glad to host sound files and utilities anyone has for Aces High.

In the sounds dialog box under settings I turn that sound all the way to 0.

I also have external sounds for NME craft up to 100% and my internal sounds to like 20% or 30% so I can hear other aircraft that might be trying to sneak up on me.

There have been times when I counldn't see where the pane was coming from and broke wildly.

This greatly irritated the person trying to fly in formation with me. :)

You guys would love my check six sound.. I got a woman screaming in my ear when I get a check 6.. Also my stall limiter is a pleasantly faint alarm clock beep. I highly reccomend a software called "Cool Edit Pro 2" for sound design, make your own! Just make sure the smaple rate adn the file format is the same and they will work.

I hear that Tblayde guy is a total hoser! ;)
