I'm currently working on the details, but as an accomodation to some of our Israeli players we will be running somthing very close to the player proposed setup "Independence War 1948". I realize that we're missing the actual date by a few days here but real life constraints made bringing the setup to the CT a week earlier impossible.

I'm too wiped out right now to hash out the details but I will try and get them posted tomorrow. If you want an idea please visit this thread.

I will very likely tweak the setup a little in a way that I feel will best suit the CT. But that link should give a general idea of what's in store for the CT next week.

I hope the saying better late than never will apply in this case.

WTF? Didn't you even read that thread? Screw the Israeli players. This is a WWII sim and almost to a man the CT regulars oppose a post WWII set-up. What the hell are you thinking? Next week I am posting a setup based on some kind of BS anniversary and I damn sure expect it to be run.

BTW it took months and months of initially a simple request that turned into blatant whining to finally get Squire's setup run. These jokers make one little whine and mention an anniversary and the freaking thing gets run, when NOBODY else wants to see it happen. Explain that one, or just make another stupid comment.

It took 8 or so setups from the time Reschke offered (three or four weeks after Squire's initial post) to get it into the rotation. During which you cried about it nearly daily.

This one was requested late and had a specific window to run (not unlike the Finn request). And like the Finnish one, it's been run before with no serious consequence. Get the hell over it already. You don't see me spamming the watermelon outa the forum for the F4U anymore. I guarantee you we'll both live. Of course, in case that proves false and one or both of us die, please accept my sincerest apologies.

p.s. Go ahead and request something connected to a specific significant anniversary that means something to you. Maybe diaper week or sumpin.
