Shift-F1/2/3 view range still doesn't control terrain details at a distance, it just varies the ground clutter range. Also, the FR hit is still there from trying a different view range.
Damage graphics don't work at all. I tested this against a V-base offline in a P-40B/E, P-51B, and Bf-109F4. After getting my radiator shot out, oil tank shot out, gear damage, cowl gun disabled, and who knows what other damage I checked the AC over in external view. Nothing. There was no oil on the cockpit, no bullet holes in the wings/fuse, and the blood didn't work when I got two separate pilot wounds in two different AC.
P-40B tack-on art (eyes, kill marks, mouth) are flickering right along side the field baseplate, runways, building textures, and a few other things. Zbuff is still M=1 ZS=1 ZB=1 T=1 W=0.
Some external camera angles let you see through the terrain. Especially when you hit F3 in any GV and there's a terrain bump or hill behind you.
A4 GV launch point for NE puts you about 100 yards offshore instead of at the doorstep of the near-by V-base.
