some of it I think...is because the game has become so stagnant that many people have left the game, yet conTinue to visit the board in order to stay attached to the community, however fractured.  Now understand the game forum is basically dead (becasue of game stagnation) so peeps come here looking for action, any action -and in this world of problems theres lots of action here.

As much as I've disliked much of NEO-YEAGER's postings here over the past year that one he just wrote hit the nail on the proverbial head.

I honestly wonder why HTC continues to maintain this OT.

I would think for the very reason Yeager mentioned.  Without the BBS OT forum, how often would people that are waiting around for AHII bother to check for updates?

Thank gawd someone feels this way!   Lately, I have listened to too many "but he's Canadian" excuses... Our HR person is lazy and uninformed..  when I pointed this out they said "well, in his defense, he is canadian and not aware of our laws."  WTF?  I'm originally from L.A. does that mean I don't have to know any regulatiojns that apply to northern California?   Can't get service from any canadian co we STILL deal with but I'm told... "well, they are in canada.."   Like what, it's on another continent or something?

I blame socialism... and womens suffrage... and zombies.

Well, I think because where it is the most frequented forum and they advertise for events at the top, that they would think that people might see these events and may actually decide to try it. And, of course, you need a sub to join these events. Then again, I could be way off.

Yegads....

Grun makes a post called "Nash and his terrorist loving pots....." and we're wondering why this thing didn't flourish into something wonderful.

I can only thank the great god of all BBS's that I saw Nash's picture while home for lunch. No way I could have explained my reaction at work.

Personally, I found those naked Iraqis doin' the human pyramid a lot funnier than some poor guy getting his head sawed off. Evidently it's only me.

But anyone can keep tabs on events and AHII without an OT here if they are honestly interested in them.

All the confusion in this thread is my fault. :(

The title should have read:

"Nash and his terrorist loving posts."

instead of,

"Nash and his terrorist loving pots."

I apologize for the confusion and of course regret any damage or insult this error has caused to any and all totally innocent pots.

It's relative Westy, with all the jovality in this thread I was only pointing out which I find to be more amusing.

I figured that and also then thought I'd not press the point. It's why I edited my post to answer others replies about why OT is here above. But not fast enough....
