House Judiciary seeks special counsel investigation.

Can some please explain this?  Does this document carry the force of law behind it?  In other words, does Ashcroft have to comply with this request?

No, it's just more of the day by day partisanship on the Hill.  It's not unlike you writing a letter to your Congressman demanding he vote a certain way.  You have input, but no authority or jurisdiction.

oh... thought we were gonna see/learn something about canada law but I guess thrawn is still hung up on the U.S.  Does canada have a government?
