Bf109s: Stigler, Marseilles and Hartmann
« on: May 23, 2004, 03:22:00 AM »
The Bf109F-4/Trop skins are now finished and submitted.

The Bf109G-6 skin(Hartmann, '43) was rejected due  to quality issues concerning the tulip marking. Regretfully I couldn't get it to look as crisp and clear as it was when hard-coded. So I decided to give it up, and slightly modify it to the Bf109G-6 Hartmann used between late '43 and early '44.

It is also finished and submitted.

Skins will be appearing at the SkinDep too, right after I finish the correct pilot gear, and pilot portraits for each of those planes.

Utterly brilliant, your skins are the best I've seen.

I wonder , could you do one in red ? I used to build a model of 109 when i was a kid ( Stone age ) Revell Kit and it was red with black markings it had a white band around the the fusalage 1/2 way between the rear of canopy and tail .. with  the black cross in band . The cross markings on wings were on white band background .
 Thank you for reading
