Joystick touchiness and keycombo crash
« on: May 23, 2004, 02:39:36 PM »
AH2 is unplayable to me do to extreme sensitivity for my joystick.  Even with dampening to over 75%, and all sliders less than 20% 1/2 movement on my rudder stick will tail-spin any plane in the game.  All flight controls are hyper-sensitive requiring me to set the pitch and yaw rates very low also just to remain flying.  I am also getting "Don't move the joystick so fast" errors even with the settings very low and with minimun movements on the stick.  Joystick is a Saitek Cyborg 3D, USB connection. Machine is a AMD 2k+, 512 megs and GForce4MX running Win2K.  I have no problems at all with AH1.

Also, ALT-F4 will crash the game to the desktop, shutting it down without warning.  I know that the key combo closes programs but it really should be captured, especially when you are use F key combos.

And it appears to me the P-38 torque steers, which it shouldn't being a twin....
