I'm guessing you hit a porn site or joke site and either knowingly or unknowingly downloaded one of their special "Viewers"

You need to look in Windows Explorer, look for proggies added or changed within the time frame this started happening, you will have a long list, go through it and see what has changed from the previous week, long process
or do like i had to do with my friends puter

Wiped it clean and reloaded windows and slapped his wrist for downloading programs he knew nothing about
Get this, He had 52 processes running after windows loaded, and couldn't figure out why his computer was so slow....lol

Not sure newbi, I don't surf porn, only because I don't trust the content, and the only joke site I go to is ebaums. This is starting to piss me off to no end, thinking of starting over from new, or just trying to get the wife to ok a new puter.... I have tried everything I know including changing e-mail (web based) sites. I think this bug was imbeded in an email. I got targeted by an animal rights group for a coment I made on a hunting board, have been getting 50-100 virus laden, or just plane hate mail each day. With the occaional death threat thrown in.
