Sorry, had to delete the films for a more important one.

If, you manage to hit the pilot good enough, the pilot wound carries forth to all the planes. One pass, three kills.

I didn't view the films but I have to agree, when it comes to Buffs HOs are the way to kill 'em quick.

I was up in an F4UC about a week ago and came across a formation of B17s.  I attacked from above, from the sides etc etc...everything but from his 6 o'clock.  I managed to hit one and kill it, but the pilot's aim was getting better with each pass and I realised it was only a matter of time before serious damage was done to my plane.

So....I got above the remaining 2 buffs and headed in the same direction (towards our base).  I had a bunch of guys tell me that I had a formation of Buffs on my 6 (lol) and had to respond that I was low on ammo and would attempt a head-on to finnish them.

I got about 3k in front of them and well above and then split s'd and lined up on the buffs.  One trigger pull directly into the cockpit of the lead bomber and "kaboom" both of them went up.

Ahhhhhhhh so that is how that happens! I could never figure it out why all three would blow up if you hit the lead really solid.  I sort of thought that a long salvo into the middle one would blow it up and then when the pilot jumped to the new one it moved into the lead buffs slot by default and got hit etc.

Well I'll be durned.

I had a really bad day Sunday. Nothing but dar porking dweebs from rooks. So, I grabbed a g10 and made sortie after sortie. Finally, I had killed a great number of buffs and 12 of them were HO 3-drone kills in one pass (36 planes - some assisted). I shot a lot of chutes, too. :D (Why do they bother to bail over OUR HQ?)
