Warbirds Commercial on D-Wings..
« on: May 31, 2004, 08:16:54 PM »
Just watching Dicovery wings and I was surprised to see a commercial of Warbirds.

Now, what they are doing is sound business.

They matched AH's commercial on the same network offering the same type of serivce and now at $13.95 per month.

If I was not paying attention, I would have swore this was an AH commercial.

Anyway, I never played warbirds, but the graphics aircraft movement seemed worse than AH1, much less AH2!

The commercial was sloppy and thrown together...sorta like an old Ron Popeil commercial.

Anyway, I was unimpressed.

Mushy (and delayed response) flight controls..... created to deal with stick stirring.

Sticky grass, land anywhere but the runway and your gear will tear off.

created to deal with the buff cross country drivers using them as tanks.

which was created by a thing called bufftuff which made buffs very hard to kill.

Bufftuff was created to make buffs harder to shoot down,  because when manning a gun position only that gun from that buff fires.

I saw the commercial, Funny thing about it was that it was right after an AH commercial.
There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!
