Silvestre should have been sent off after taking out Rooney - last man and all that.

Should have been 10 men and 2-0 to England.

If I were French I would be over the moon. They weren't allowed to play and looked average, and still scraped a win.

Bring on the Swiss and the Croats.

Obviously having their own sleep therapist and specially flown in sheets didn't help Beckham's boys in the end.

My bet is that they don't make the 2nd round.

I agree, it should have been Englands Win...

I had my money on 1 - 0 for England, my friend had his money on 1 - 1 and my third friend had his money on 1 - 2 for France.

Everyone was a winner for 1 minute... Was strange...

Saintaw - just looking at your avatar, I see a glimpse of some French fries. But as it's you, how come there is no mayonaise on them?

Gawd, I tried FFs once with Mayo on them - at Spa airfield in your country. Beautiful area, BTW. I was just about to fly on to Appeldoorn in your northern neigbour. But after those FFs with mayonaise I felt so sick I decided to wait 2 hours to make sure I wasn't going to have a heart attack! Never again.
