The guitar was donated by Stevie Ray Vaughan's brother, Jimmie, from the estate of SRV. It is the only personal guitar from SRV to have been released from the Estate into the public domain and it sold tonight for $623,500, the second highest price for a Fender Stratocaster.

WhaT a neat wEbsite! I just found this BBs and it's my first day here.

I just LOve SRV!!! I have all his music in mY big TruCk and I listen to It all The time here in TexAs!!!!

I'd sure love to get that gUitar, maybe I'll beat up the auction wieNer and take it from hIm!
