Started my first real skin.. me 163

I have started my fisrt skin need help with panel lines though.. It was flown by wolfgang spate of JG 300

How do I get the colors to show without losing color info while saving a BMP?

I also started with it. But gave up. Skin texture is in 256*256. I wasnt shure if its worth a try.

You better ask HTC before starting because this bird was painted red only for one sortie.

I dont think I can make a skin good enough to submit to HTC but maybe Hey I made it red

im using psp 8 and   can make the whole plane red but that templet would be great........... Learning to skin here.......  Ecke when Im done could I send it to you for reworking? or advice. IM shure HT would except since afterall it was a historical skin and most 163s on saw 1 sortie anyways

LOL I SUCK....... cant make panel lines look right i need some help....... this was before I tried to put them on..... Also when I do a certain color red and save it as 256 color BMP it changes

you have the 'Bright' plug-in installed in Photoshop? If not here it is.

Go to 'tools'.
Bright tries to make the pic less pixel-like. Skin looks a bit smoother then. And maybe it helps against the changing colours.

Red and Black is a good combination, so maybe you a can make a number in black, or maybe Black outside White, like the German symbol, then it could match. And maybe add a little black here and there, to touch it up.

rgr that have panel lines done...... but one prob there... aroudn them there are little specks of orange and what not that I can only touch up using MS paint
