When you loose 1 or 2 wings, they're practically still there though you can't see them.
I have tested it with the F4F (still keeps on driving on ground with both wings gone) I lost both wings, when you make a sharp turn, the plane will balance on 1 wheel and should flip over, but the "wing" prevents that though they're gone.
