I've thought about a laptop machine for years. Best Buy is offereing the following eMachine for $1250:
Mobile AMD Athlon 64 Processor 3000+
1600 MHz system bus
512 DDR RAM

15.4 TFT 1280x800 res
Mobile Radeon 9600 64 meg card
60 GB HD
How do eMachine laptops compare to the rest of the pack? This rig seems to have plenty of horsepower to run AH2 and the price seems pretty good...given the AMD 64 bit architecture.
