I'm starting to make P-51D S/N 472218, Big Beautiful Doll for the MA but I'm having problems. It seems the wings are two different sizes and everytime I try to do my wing tip checker boards they won't match up properly.

This is an awesome skin and I'd love to be able to finish it but right off the bat the wings are giving me issues. Anyone know how to ensure they wrap properly from the bottom to the top of the wing? I'm not sure I wanna keep going if this is gonna be such a problem considering there is alot of checker boards on this bird. Thanks in advance.

Cobra, I just saved a post earlier that had to do with 'alpha masking' (the same thing someone else used to make a clipped-wing Spit V, I think).

It might work in your case to get the desired results.

It's driving me nuts that I can't do this skin. I went out over the past 2 days and bought over 300 dollars worth of reference materials to do this skin. Only about 100 was directly for the skin itself while the rest would give me the option to do alot of different skins. I'm gonna do some fiddling again today to see what I can get.
