Trim
« on: July 07, 2004, 10:43:13 PM »
I've noticed that several planes launch with one trim setting or another maxed out. For the P-38, elevator trim is all the way up. For a couple of medium bombers, either aileron or rudder trim is is all the way to the left. Several other examples I can't remember exactly.

As a side note, why don't the brakes work well on the P-38? They never have, even in AH I. They should hold the plane still at 60" of MAP, that is how the manual says to start your takeoff roll. They should stop real well also, since the tricycle landing gear stops them from nosing over.
