joystick throttle problems

I have a logitech extreme 3d pro joystick. It worked okay for a while but then I stated having problems with the throttle and multi engined and propeller aircraft, if my throttle controll is 100% the plane doesnt go at all. If its at 0 its the same, but at 50% the plane goes at 25%throttle. Ive tried recallibrating in windows and ah2. I think it has something to do with key assignments.

Had the same stick, same problems, 3 sticks later, I changed sticks and haven't had the problem since.

Phone Logitech, they'll send ya a new stick, or two, hehe, but problem will remain.

Try a similarly priced Saitek, worked for me.

Yep, I too have been down that long, lonely, crater ridden, washed out dirt road, running through the never ending tunnel with nary a twinkle of light to guide your way.

That stick is a POS. Send it back if you can, if you can't they are usually more than happy to send you a new POS, that will crap out in at least one axis within a few weeks.

Save yourself the heartache and frustration. Take it out back and give it a lead pill ( .45 caliber oughta do it), and spend the same amount of money on a different stick.

I have been using a Saitek cyborg EVO now for about 6 months, with no problems.

LOL! RTR, thats the stick I just bought to replace the Logitech POS.

It scared the hell outta me when I first plugged it in, in the dark.lol

short cal the throttle

start with it almost to off then go around 1/2 way up when caling .

You are going to love this.

On the Joystick>Settings screen, in the box under the word Axis, select 'Throttle 1'. Make sure the Invert Axis box is NOT checked.

Then select 'Throttle 2'. Put a check in the box 'Invert Axis'. Do the same thing for 'Throttle 3' and 'Throttle 4'. Click OK.

Don't know why you have to do this when you set more than one engine to the same throttle.
