well its several meters below the face of the earth but you get the point :)

a year ago a good friend invited me and a few other friends to join him and his family in a diving trip to the red sea.
armed with digital cameras with dove down to this allmost mystical place.
we took over a thousand pictures, here are a few.

i know some of you guys are allso diving, if you ever get the chance to come to the red sea, give me a call.
hope you will enjoy it, i think its good pause from the constant debating and slamming we have here
:)

me and my friends- i am the one with the yellow Tshirt

the reason i post this is that tomarrow me and a friend are going back to sinay for 10 days to do some diving, with no digital cameras this time, and i just wanted to share a place which IMHO is the most beutiful place on earth.

i have a ton of more pictures if anyone is interested, btw the original image size is around 2MB- had to cut a bit on quallity so i could post it here.

excellent shots.

post or link to as many more as you can, I've already snagged the turtle and clown-fish for wallpapers, and could use more.

I'd love to visit and dive that area of the world if it ever cools off a bit politically ( a guy can dream can't he).

nice pics but couldn't you resize them?  kind of hard to see how beautiful it is if you can only see 1/8 of the pic....

Thanks for the pics.  Definately on my life list... some day.

Here are some shots from Cocos Island, Costa Rica.  For those of you who don't dive, Cocos is an uninhabited island out in the Pacific about 350 miles west of Panama.  The only way to get there is a 36 hour open ocean crossing.  Tough to get to, but worth the trip.  I went in late May/first week of June 2004 and had pretty good weather for both crossings, thank goodness!

great pics!
too bad I'm afraid of fish... I'll never dare to dive in the red sea. Those sardine look-alikes seem really mean
