And the ground loop will usually end up in a fireball - even if you were just slowly taxiing out.  Don't try to land with any kind of damage to the landing gear either.

F4U1C and F4U1D have been bitten....in patch 5 they are impossible to land with damage to gear, landing with gear up....as you come to nearly a complete stop on the runway they suddenly rol or flip and u end up crashing instead of anything successful........was not like this in previous patches...:(

yeppers WilldCrd, I use that when taking off til my speed gets over 100 or so, it is when I am near less than 10 mph almost stopped, then suddenly the plane flips or rolls when belly landing ( damaged gear )
as if there is a chunk out of the concrete runway right where I come to a stop and the fuselage dips in and grabs holt throwing it over..................I have had 1 ocassion where it grabbed but didn't flip it broke both wings off but was sucessful..all while being almost dead stop ( near dead stop is the key here) I could understand if it happened at say 50 IAS or something similar, but near stopped don't make sense......

edited: going to make a film of repeated belly landings........

Dont mean to be obvious, But have you guys tried landing, and then hitting auto-pilot, as soon as you touch down? letting the A/P control the plane to a stop. (you still have to brake of course)

my favorite way to land a damaged F4.
