I know the following question is a loaded one because of the
different angles of attack, but It seem I am having a hard time
guessing where to place my aim (reticle).  I know generally
where (direction to aim)  but I was wondering if someone could
give me an idea of an approx. distance ( 1/4" lead, 1/2" lead etc)
i should be trying for, for say a target turning hard at 300 yds.
also, I would have thought that a direct shot from directly behind
a straight flying target (b-26) would be apiece of cake as for
as aiming goes, but it seems when i line up the reticle just above
the target at 300 yds. Im not getting hits.  I got a few stray hits
as I was bouncing up and down a bit, but couldnt get an idea of
which angle caused the hit.  would be awesome if someone actually had a web site page showing actual photos.
Hum on second thought, I might want to d/l some of those
game videos on here.  But since Im at work and am using
dial-up (ugh)  I dont want to even try that.
By the way i have my convergence set at 350.

Bring up your clipboard and select Setuo>Arena setup>Environment>Arena settings>Flight Model Flags. A side panle will open. Check the Lead Computing gunsite. You can also check the dive bomb site as well. Close the clipboard and you'll have a aiming device available offline and in the training arena.

Visit the TA every now and then and use the LCG, Lead Computed Gunsight.
1- Hit 'ctrl-tab' to enable friendly lock.
2- Acquire the target in one of two ways.
A- Use 'tab' and cycle thru all targets in your view until correct one selected.
B- Use 'shft-tab' to target the centermost target in view.

It will bring up small green +'s to show exact lead needed to get hits on target. YOU will get two +'s for primary and secondary wespons. If you just want to see primary, take a DT along and select it as secondary.

I've also noticed personally I have brought my gun convergence in with AH2. mostly in the 250-325 range unless you are definately going to straff a lot of ground targets.
Far too many, if not most, people on this Board post just to say something opposed to posting when they have something to say.
