You guys are all freakin excited, and I'm reminding you we are still stuck on SMALL MAPS...

New airplanes on LITTLE TINY MAPS... Oh gee golly goodie...

I think they are misguiding their efforts... MAKE THE GAME WORK... Then lets get on with add ons..

You make an outstanding point.
Though at this point I'd be willing to settle for a same sized map so long as its different from the current ones

I'm thinking for a tank, either the Sherman, StuG (A dedicated town buster), or perhaps a Matilda?

My guess:
B24
Ki84
M4A4-76

Nobody has mentioned the part about native TrackIR support yet though, long time we've been waiting for that, sometimes patiently and sometimes not so.

Flyboy, The terrain editor is an add on... HTC has the ability to work terrains for AH2 already...  The editor just allows you to do it.  It has nothing to do with why we are on small maps.

Infact if you go into H2H you can fly on Trinity, it clearly works with AH2 already.

I asked Skuzzy in email a few weeks ago about large maps and the answer was that they want to stabilize the game before introducing the large maps.  My point in my earlier post was simply that at this point, they clearly don't feel the game is stable enough to run the large maps, so why are they investing programming effort in new candy rather than stabilizing the existing product?

Yeah, but that was an extremely vague remark about 'issues'.

If you say you're working on it, then I trust that you're working on it.  But the first line of the post didn't really pass on enough information to be taken as encouragement.

Regardless... I'll shut my pie hole and wait to see what you've been working on.  Thanks for taking the time to post.

Man, always a pesimest in here somewhere. "New and Improved..New and Improved"  whaa whaa whaa "but that part is still old". Maybe they are finishing the new terrain editor so we wont have just old converted maps? Wouldnt it be nice to have new, bigger maps instead of repainted old ones? Kurt, shaddup and let them work!

My money on Heinkel 111, because BoB is starting in 1 week. Makes the first AH2 event run with historic accuracy.

Or then I can be wrong..
