lay7's are dumb pilot 99.9% of the time.  If they at 20k make em auger they dont know which way is down.

Now that's funny, I pounced a high P38 once in my La7.
I was at 20k and he was in a steady climb at about 16k. I guess he didn't expect an La7 was going to be that high either.

Funny, I used to fly the la7 a LOT.

It was a rare day when I needed to go above 10k. In fact I used to love showing up well below the other guys, pick one out & turn the tables on him.

But eventually the screaming & dweeb calling finally pushed me out of this sweet little bird.

So now I'm flying the Yak9T and getting those wonderful 1 shot kills at 600 that leave them in the tower shaking their head.

Is just as much fun as the la7 was.

Ohh btw, I keep that at 8k max mostly also. Although I will go up to 12 to kill a bomber formation.

Good pilots willing to mix it up don't need alt advantage.
