IL2 is also a boxed game with limited multiplayer capabilities.

Very nice AH2 video. I liked the visual effects and music.

Yeah, IL2 FB is a very nice single player game. It also probably gives you more immersiveness as far as the graphics and flight/damage models go. However it does have drawbacks. One there is no massive mulitplayer. There are a few servers which host up to 16 players. There are no SEA events. The gunnery in my opinion is weaker than AH2. But it does offer a very nice ingame film recorder which you can go back, look at, and edit into movies or short clips.

I particularly like the movie Bellum - towards the bottom of the list. Very nice story line, music, and visual effects.

I have both IL2 FB and AH2 so I'm happy. I find myself using IL2 FB to mainly shoot down the computer while setting up some quick missions. I also do a little bit of the movie making =)

Its also 3 CDs worth of code. Wonder how much the dial-up guys would whine about DLing 1.8GB over the modem?

Multi player in IL-2 isn't as bad as people seem to think... in my opinion. Granted you don't have 100+ people in one arena... but you can still have some good fights. You can have up to 32 players in one arena.

OMG, Puff this is exactly why I signed up for Aces High2, the bomber action! I'm creaming my shorts here watching your "Bomb Run" video because that's what I'm craving.

I'm coming from WW2OL and the strategic bombing aspect of that game is practically nonexistant and what does have is implimented in a half assed fashion (typical CRS style). Anyway I decided to give AH2 a go and so far I've gotten used to the bombsight but I'm tired of flying alone with my 2 dumb AI wingies. Are you guys recruiting by chance? :}'

Picture 22 on your squad page is simply awesome, you RARELY see that kind of bomber/figher action in WW2OL.
