here's a pic of the sun and it is in front of the terrain and  rather large.

Yes i have commented several times that the Sun appears through the terrain. Im not sure they can fix it.
same with the See through town buildings and see through terrain in other instances. This was common in AH1 and never got fixed. We shall see.

My favorite 'Stupid Sun Trick' was when I left the arena while facing the sun, and when I was out on the AHII screen with all the men walking from the transport aircraft, the sun was shining through the arena selection clipboard...

You got a photo that shows that happening in real life? :D
