Too much time in the o'club eh?

I'm suprised you're still sane after having to read all the drivel. Oh wait, we've met, you were even 'questionable' back then. Oh well, carry on.

Curval: Tornadoes are formed by wind, and the Sun is made from hot. Duh!

Sorry Edbert ;) I was just thinking the other day about how great my parents were about answering questions from myself and three siblings (see above for proof)

No prob. I put the proper raising of my kids at the top of my list and am perhaps too sensitive when I perceive it called into question. I limit him to an hour of computer time per day, and I think even the gameboy is preferable to television. I mean at least games require SOME thought and reflexes, rather than simply mouth breathing and vacant stares.

My son <15> has one and a console game too, we hold them and have him check them out for use.

The up side is they are fun and they can be used as a preformance award, "Handle" to improve behavour.
The down side is that they can become a source of famly friction, and encorage obsseive intrest.

Your decision, It works for us, but it is not a "Fire and forget" option.  Parental involvement is a must.

GameBoy seems pretty durable.  I bought one around 1990 or so and it still works great.

The little yellow screen takes awhile to get used to though but at least a set of batteries lasts a long time.
