btw car dealers in here uses Ozone generators for used cars if previous owner  smoked in a car. Put the generator in for a weekend and in a monday morning you have a factory fresh car.

I never take dogs back to my house.  Not only is there a smell, but your friends laugh at you.  I always go to their place.

anyone who can't stand the doggie smell is probably a cat person...

I say it'll keep out the riff raff.

GtoRA if your car starts to rust from some place do you just slap a sticker over it or will you sand it and repaint?

Use Ozone: rent a generator for a week (or buy one, price is up from 200$ and the smell is gone for good and won't come back.

Hell didn't knew they were that cheap; going to buy myself one (I used to smoke inside) :D

Any ideas on getting rid of it?

u need to replace the carpet and paint the floors with kiltz or a good quality oil based primer.

This is what I do for this on insurance claims.

Fabrezze wont get 3 year old funk out of the carpet.
And some funk is down in the plywood floor.

the rest of the suggestions are a waste of time....

New carpeting, furniture, painting the walls, is the only way you will rid any unwanted smells in your house.  One visit from Grun told me that.
