If it's what I think - it's real bodies "plastified", tissues are mixed with some kind of plastic.

This German "scientist" is sick.

We had a huge scandal in Novosibirsk IIRC, with some patalogo-anatomists selling "unindentiied bodies" to this guy, and even some bodies without notifying relatives....

Imagine your dead body filled with plastifier and exhibited by this sick person, so everybody will gaze at what have been once your organs

Actually at my funeral I had wanted the lights to suddenly cut off and my corpse to fly out of the coffin suspended by cables above the heads of the mourners with pyrotechnic fire shooting out of my bellybutton and badass techno blaring with strobe lights.

But In the way you describe my organ could touch so many more. I'm down with it. Imortalize my wang!

They are human (and animal) bodies that have been plastinated. This is a technique where the body is infused with a plastic substance that preserves the tissue. It had replaced formal in-fixed tissue in many anatomy-teaching laboratories.

von Hagens is not sick. He invented this technique, which is a valuable procedure for anatomical specimens. The purpose of the exhibit is to educate the public about anatomy and medical science. The fact that this offends some people reinforces the need for such education.

Each body in this exhibit was donated by the person specifically for this purpose. In fact the singed agreement is presented for exhibition along with the body.

OMG that's good. If you don't do this, do you mind if I steal the idea?

You planning to do this soon?
DEFINITION OF A VETERAN
A Veteran - whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life."

Uhm no.

And of course I'll take the current (at the time) technology into consideration. For eg., I may have to substitute the strobe lights with lasers.
