pic properties says "VF-214" but that's obviously a typo. I'd say VMF-214 .... making it a Blacksheep bird. Maybe Boyington's.

Vietnam Corsair?  Kinda weird, but you mean A-7 Corsair II or just plain F4U Corsair before they retired in 1960s?
