Poor Business Decision

Think of it this way... Bish and knights complain about arena numbers.. meaning Rooks must be the majority of players... By the whines and posts on numbers, I would venture a guess of 45% rooks, 27.5% bish and 25.7% knights... maybe 40%, 30% and 30%.

Let me ask you.. is it wise to upset over 1/3 of your customer base to satisfy the other 2/3? Maybe, yes, but what if the "fix" you made causes 1/2 of that 1/3 to go elsewhere? Then the 2/3 of the rest will have the imbalance? Then they will be the upset party and perhaps 1/2 of them will go too. Now the last of the group will have the imbalance, get upset and 1/2 of them leave...

OK, so now you have only 1/2 of your customers left and the cycle of imbalance starts again..

Midnight,

I would guess for HiTech to have taken this step he must have lost a great many subscribers who when queried said the lobsided numbers were their reason for leaving.  In other words, your numbers are not the real numbers.
