early morning flying, can't take a panzer...
« on: August 17, 2004, 07:36:18 AM »
Logged on early this morn (4/5am cent ish) and the countries numbers were quite out of whack.  Knit / Rook had 30-40 each, and Bish had 15.  This happens in the early morning, and is quite typical.  Then end result was this...

I couldn't up a panzer.  All planes (and gv's) with an ENY of 35 or less was disabled.  Wow!

I like the new system well enough (doesn't really affect me, as I will fly other planes if my 1st pick not avail.) BUT to take away a countries ability to defend their bases from GV attacks is just plain wrong.

PLEASE adjust he new system so it caps out at a certain level, say 25 eny or below.  Also please make the 163 avail for HQ defence no matter what the #'s.

Thinking that GVs (not Tiger) should be exempt from ENV limits. Maybe even Tiger also.

A Sherman would be nice, even better if it had a rocket pack bolted on the turret.

Added a new country balancer that disables available planes based on country number
imbalances and plane ENY values. NOTE: Values for this system may change as the
system is optimized.

Agreed Drediock,
In fact there are really only 4 planes in here worth perking heavily i.e 100+
163
262
P51
La7
AMD Phenom II X6 1100T
Asus M3N-HT mobo
2 x 2Gb Corsair 1066 DDR2 memory

Was talking heavily.
If you based perk price on ENV value.

262 ENV 5 = 200 perks, =40 perks per ENV but apply in reverse

ENV 6 = 200-40 =160 perks
ENV 7 = 120 perks
ENV 8 = 80 perks
ENV 9 = 40 perks

Anything over 9 is free
I realise that this would require a rework of current ENV values as I dont think a La7 is worth 200 perkies..
Makes a lot more sense than the current perk values

Personally though I am happy with current system.

Feel sorry for HT whatever he does people are gonna jump down his throat.
