REGISTRATION  G-bkth  
OWNER  The Shuttleworth Collection  
BASE A  Old Warden (England)  
CURRENT COLORS  Fleet Air ARM, Squadron 880, based on aircraft carrier HMS "Indomitable"  
HISTORY

Built under licence in Canada in 1941, it is sent in England where it is converted into Sea-Hurricane. It is incorporated in Squadron 880 in July of the same year. At the end of 1942, it passes to Sqn 759 based to Yeovilton, after which one finds it in Technical College of Loughborough. In 1961, the apparatus is offered to Shuttleworth Collection. A small team of volunteers of this one and Imperial War Museum give it in in-flight status since 1986, and the hunter revole for the first time in September 1995. "

Thanks guys, That Sea Hurri was a substitute for a Hawker Hind which was supposed to be displayed, However since they rebuilt its engine it has had intermitant problems so the Shuttleworth people kindly sent along the Sea Hurri instead, Apparently it  doesn't get out much and as it is very rare I figured you guys would like to see it :D

Funny, I never see them like that... the only ones I ever see are missing pieces, on fire and dropping outa the sky like eskimo on a vulch run. :D
