Clipboard and the sun

The clipboard should block out the sun if you have it up.  Right now if the sun is behind clipboard, it gets washed out and is unreadable.

Yea...the clipboard is clearly not modeled corectly...I mean, the real WWII clipboard was a much better sun shield, we need the clipboard MKX :D

I think the problem stems from the fact that the clipboard is modeled like any other part of the plane, Im not sure if it could be easily recoded.

It's probably like that to avoid exploiters from blocking out the sun and being able to see clearly, when normally they would be blinded

Wouldnt really be exploiting it.
In real life they would often hold their thumb up to block the sun.

Unless of course HTC wants to give us thumbs. LOL

Do you really think you could get an advantage in a fight by having your clipboard up to block the sun??

Certainly not an advantage cause the clipboard would also block out a good portion of your view and in effect reduce your SA.

I'd like to see it block out the sun simply so I can read the darn thing when flhying toward the sun.
As it stand now it kinda shines right through

when in regular flight though I do as another suggested and simply move my head around till part of the cockpit blocks the  sun

Yes I think this would be a worthwhile fix, hopefully HTC will get it done.
