Patch 10 Search Bug
« on: August 26, 2004, 06:33:03 PM »
This is only a weird minor occasional annoyance, but since installing Patch 10, sometimes when I enter the Bulletin Board and start a search, up pops AOL 8.0.

No problem to soon turn it off, but ... what causes that?

FYI, I use AOL 9.0 and have AOL 8.0 and AOL 7.0 still in program files only as shells of their old files that were transferred to latest 9.0 version.

AOL works fine and I've never had any sort of issue with it like this strange reawakening of the old AOL 8.0.

you can not auto update from 1.99

FULL release of AHII was out a while back, and you have to DL from scratch.

here is the full version of the current patch:

http://downloads.hitechcreations.com/AH20010.EXE

you will have to uninstall AH and i recommend a restart and defrag before installing the new one.
