Had my 4th or 5th hop in AH last night... well, I can finally say I see what people are talking about when they say the sim is fun! I finally found a large population of enemy pilots (some I know from other sims, some I don't). There were bombers to kill, fighters to fight, bases to attack... it was fun
I flew the stable (except for the multi's) and like all the a/c for various reasons, and found getting kills wasn't overly difficult in anything- no terribly misplaced types here. I will leave the modeling arguments to those far more qualified to conduct them.
In the basest of all senses, it was fun. I know the nuances will reveal themselves to me in time, but for now I am enjoying it as a fresh new experience and with an open mind.
Now if I can only figure out how to read the readme.txt so I can tune radios, use trim, etc.
