Coming along.  Haven't decided the final pilot/plane yet.  Wings are original, Fuselage is a hybrid between Citabria's and my own template.  Credit for Cit is definitely due.  I accidentally saved over my own fuselage .pspimage into a .bmp... to save time and a monitor out the window, I combined elements of both (fuselage.)

I like that one.  It wouldn't break my heart if there was a P40 without a sharkmouth.

Great work that's for sure :)

Fantastic work!  And obviously non AVG to boot! :D

I recall reading about the reason for the white stripes on the 40's, but cannot for the life of me remember what the reason was?!?!?!

Clarify please?

Nice skin Octavius. I was wondering when you were gonna work on another P-40 skin.  I don't wanna be rude but one thing I noticed is your wing lines are too deep on their angle out to the tip of the wing.  From your original photo you can see the wing tip cap and that the line terminates there and just slightly over the aileron.  Great skin so far though.

Comments are certainly welcome.  Going to need some pointers for weathering and dirt in a little while. :)

I didn't even notice that Cobra!  I was using another pic for the white wing stripes and saw the stripes beginning/ending just at the tip of the aileron.  They can be moved... they have their own layer (for quick adjustments).  Aligning them with the stripe over the cowl was a beyotch.

Thank god for alpha layers too!  I removed the left side fuselage 'noseart' section altogether.

Oct, theres 4 kill markings, not 3, under the canopy. :D

Other than that it looks great.  You even matched everything up with the panel lines.

Outside of that ... this skin ROCKS !!!
